KVKK & GDPR

Operating from Maslak, Istanbul, we align our procedures with both the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and global GDPR benchmarks.

Encryption Standards

All research data is isolated in siloed cloud environments with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit.

Information Acquisition

We collect data strictly to fulfill our role as a research lab. This includes metadata for analytics optimization and direct identifiers for client communication. We do not participate in secondary data marketplaces or advertising profiles.

"Accuracy in research starts with the ethical handling of the raw material: the data itself." — Lab Operations Director

Identity Elements

Name, institutional affiliation, and professional email addresses provided via contact forms or research inquiries. This is essential for our verification standards.

Systemic Metrics

Cookie Utilization

We utilize performance and strictly necessary cookies to ensure the stability of our research dashboards. These do not house personal behavioral data for re-targeting. For full details, consult our Cookie Policy.

Lifecycle of an Inquiry

When you engage Istanbul Metric Lab for research services, your data follows a strict lifecycle. Information provided via the Contact Page is stored only for the duration of our initial correspondence. Should a partnership emerge, data is transferred to a secure client portal.

We retain research-related analytics for a period of up to 5 years following the conclusion of a study to ensure the reproducibility of our published findings. This data is fully anonymized where possible, stripping away all personally identifiable information (PII) before it enters our permanent research archives.
